181 units, no more. The Super Ariston pushes the Ariston’s DNA further: 6.75 to 6.95 metres, a taut line, masterwork finishes. Built between 1960 and 1974, only 181 units ever left the yard – making it one of the most sought-after Rivas among collectors. Values keep rising, and rarity demands prudent use.
Original architecture. Solid mahogany hull, V8 Chrysler or GM Crusader of 250 to 350 horsepower, top speed around 35 knots. A period sport boat, built for prestige racing as much as for cruising.
The Lanéva conversion. A retrofit dedicated to owners who want to enjoy their Super Ariston fully while preserving its heritage value. Electric motor of 160 to 220 kW depending on configuration, battery pack of 70 to 100 kWh, discreet integration that alters neither silhouette nor period elements. Equivalent in-use performance to the thermal version, without the mechanical stress of a vintage V8 in regular service.
On board, you will experience… a Super Ariston you’ll actually take out. Many collectors of pieces like this use them sparingly, fearing breakdown or upcoming engine work. The retrofit lifts that constraint: the electric mechanics are silent, reliable, certified to industrial standards, and the boat is restored to its original purpose – bringing pleasure to its owner.
