The wakeboarding icon. Built by Correct Craft (an American company founded in 1874, owner of the Nautique brand), the Crossover Nautique 236 – also known as the Super Air Nautique 236 – is a sport boat dedicated to towed water sports: wakeboarding, wakesurfing, water-skiing. Engineered to generate the perfect wave through an integrated ballast system reaching nearly 800 kg per side, it is the reference tool for premium watersports centres and demanding enthusiasts.
Original architecture. Performance GRP hull of 7.20 metres, high-output thermal inboard V8 motor, modular integrated ballasts, wake tower. Designed to run at sustained rpm during towing sessions – and therefore with high fuel consumption and running cost.
The Lanéva conversion. For this kind of professional or semi-professional use – repeated outings, known energy profile, sometimes daily exploitation – electric retrofit transforms the economics of the tool. High-output electric powertrain sized to generate the same wave as the original V8 (typically 200 to 300 kW), high-capacity battery pack (120 to 180 kWh) calibrated to the daily number of sessions, fast recharging between rotations. Immediate electric torque actually delivers an even sharper wave start than the thermal version.
