The other Swiss legend. Founded in 1906 by Augusto Pedrazzini – an Italian immigrant from Lake Como who settled in Zurich – Pedrazzini is the most discreet and perhaps most exclusive of the wooden-runabout yards. Production is limited to six units per year, each hull requiring over 4,000 hours of work, and a new Pedrazzini starts in the six-figure range. The Monte Carlo Grand Sport is the sportiest expression of this goldsmith tradition.
Original architecture. Solid mahogany hull with the brand’s characteristic deep V (elegant at rest and under acceleration, surprisingly stable in chop), high-performance thermal motor, more than 20 coats of lacquer on the deck. A boat built to last and hold value.
The Lanéva conversion. At this level, retrofit is treated as a horological intervention on a collector timepiece. Certified industrial-grade components, integrated with millimetric care, fully reversible to preserve heritage value, complete preservation of visible period elements. Electric powertrain calibrated to match or exceed original performance, high-density battery pack.
On board, you will experience… the Pedrazzini in its full purity. Many Pedrazzini owners limit the use of their boat out of heritage concern – vintage mechanics demand caution, fill-ups are expensive, engine noise undermines the experience. The retrofit lifts those constraints: you reclaim the regular use these exceptional boats deserve.
