A commission turned icon. The Andreyale 10 metres was designed by architects Joubert and Nivelt for the famous André restaurant in La Rochelle, of which it long served as flagship. Its inspiration: the American commuter boats of the 1930s – those elegant launches that ferried New York bankers between Long Island and Wall Street. Pure lines, varnished wood, considered finishes – the Andreyale is the French expression of timeless maritime elegance, built by the Latitude 46 shipyard in La Rochelle, longtime partner of the Tofinou brand.
Original architecture. Semi-displacement 10-metre hull, gloss-varnished wood finishes, inboard diesel motor for day cruising and coastal navigation. A boat as much about presence and gesture as about sailing: lunching on the water in the La Rochelle basin, entertaining at anchor, slipping over to Île de Ré for the market.
The Lanéva conversion. The Andreyale 10 is a textbook retrofit case: highly predictable navigation profile (day outings, moderate distances, daily port returns), prestige hull whose heritage value warrants careful intervention, owners attuned to environmental commitment. Electric motor of 60 to 100 kW depending on configuration, battery pack of 60 to 100 kWh, quayside recharging. Absolute preservation of silhouette and woodwork.
